Caiu! Caiu!

Há 20 anos caia o grande muro – o chamado “muro da vergonha” que dividiu Berlim ao meio alguns anos após a II Guerra. Era a mais visível concretude da nossa rachadura humana durante o século passado.

Eu lembro. Tinha 16 anos. E lembro-me do sentimento na ocasião. Era menino, mas eu sabia estar assistindo um milagre histórico. Uma intervenção de Deus nos destinos da presunção das nossas cortinas de ferro e obstinação. Quando eu nasci o muro já estava lá fazia muito tempo e eu pensava que sempre houvera existido. Afinal, o planeta tinha três mundos bem discerníveis: os ricos, os vermelhos e... Nós, o Terceiro deles.

Recém-convertido à fé protestante, eu ficava pensando o que nossas “torres de vigia” fariam com suas “chamadas para a meia-noite” e seus relógios apocalípticos, pois a Guerra Fria acabara. O comunismo foi vencido pelo Capital e a imensa União Soviética das minhas aulas de Geografia tinha se esfarelado. Então, sem o prometido cogumelo nuclear do fim dos tempos, amanheceu!


Um novo século! Novas bestas no horizonte...


Sim, a besta criada pelos discípulos de Marx não era a Besta esperada pelos escatologistas, apesar de ter matado, desde 1917, muito mais gente do que a besta do Hitler!

Fazem, então, exatos 20 anos que o muro foi derrubado à marretadas simbólicas dos berlinenses. E quem diria à época: a Ângela, uma senhora de Berlim oriental, governa hoje a Nação reconstruída! Não teve “profeta” para prever tamanha virada!


Nesse intervalo de duas décadas aconteceu mais um mundo de outras coisas no Velho Mundo:

· O I.R.A. cansou de derramar sangue, virou partido político e a gente nem se lembra mais que católicos e protestantes não iam ao culto em domingos sangrentos.

· Já a Iugoslávia não se suportou e rachou em quatro, depois de sua “limpeza” étnica.

· E os espanhóis continuam tão bem espanhóis que nem eles se agüentam... Querem, ainda, dividir a pequena conquistadora do Novo Mundo em três ou quatro mundinhos raciais!


Mas, a despeito de ter a cara de um quebra-cabeça, a Europa, agora, é uma só! Quem diria... É como outrora era o antigo Império Romano!

Então, eis aí a próxima candidata à Besta nos círculos adventistas das neuroses preditivas: A União Européia! Aliás, naquele continente se acumulam agora as Bestas todas necessárias para a Tribulação que virá. Bestas de todos os tipos... políticas, econômicas e religiosas. Têm o Império, o Euro e o Papa. Parece tudo explicado... A Europa unificada é a óbvia candidata à vilã do apocalipse... Tem tudo para ser! Só pode ser! Igualzinho no século passado, quando bestas, dragões, “gogues e magogues” eram todos comunistas para a teologia norte-americana que inspirava nossas mentes colonizadas!

A simplificação medíocre dos processos de redenção que Deus se fará valer deixa os cristãos mais desapercebidos ainda que “vigiar” não é “adivinhar” o Advento; é, sim, buscar discernir o espírito desse mundo mal e persistir no Caminho do Amor reconciliador, sem muros de separação entre nós e nosso próximo – muros derrubados na Cruz!

Mas preferimos voltar ao tabuleiro. Mexer nas peças: Sai a URSS, entra a Comunidade Européia, que só devia ter 10 países para corresponder aos números de chifres da Besta que emergirá do Mar (Mediterrâneo?), conforme interpretam o livro bíblico da Revelação. A teologia cristã de viés nostradâmico precisa de novas dicas da história para redesenhar suas missiologia escatológica com tanto país enfiado nesse Mercado Comum. Não que estejam preocupados com o mundo, mas pensam que precisam saber responder até quando ele dura! Os números, infelizmente, ainda não batem... Mas eles estão estudando!

O mundo mudou, e agora, ao contrário de nos dividirmos em três blocos geopolíticos, somos um único grande Bloco, todos capitalistas de nascença (mesmo os comunistas!). E até a América Latina, quem diria (!), apesar de algumas bestas tão bestas que nunca poderiam ser a Besta mesmo.


Mas esse é o século XXI e o mundo mudou. Não podemos dizer – simplistas – que “para melhor”. Primeiro, porque para desgraça momentânea da natureza gemente nós ainda estamos aqui no Planeta Azul! E, ademais, “pra variar, estamos em guerra!” Agora, o inimigo é invisível, celular, tentacular, espalhado por todo o globo, sem Estado, sem geografia, sem medo, sem nada a não ser as armas que a Guerra Fria deixou na mão deles, associados ao estímulo moral do fanatismo islâmico! O inimigo, enfim, é o terrorismo árabe e o ódio ao Ocidente quase-cristão que defende Israel, onde outro muro se levanta porque, diferente de duas Berlins, temos mais de dez Jerusaléns. Todos querem Jerusalém, todos reivindicam seu pedaço de terra santa! “Jerusalém é cálice de embebedar as nações!” – conforme sabiam os Profetas de verdade!

Que triste ironia: A besta nazista estraçalhou os judeus. O mundo ficou perplexo! Quis corrigir a História. Existia um povo sem chão desde que a besta do Império da Roma-dona-do-mundo destruiu Jerusalém, que, aliás, já havia sido posta abaixo pelas bestas babilônicas e outras tantas, que depois, caíram também!


Aí o mundo moderno devolveu aos judeus restantes um pedacinho da Terra Prometida, e no mesmo dia, criaram outro povo sem chão. Então, os judeus que estavam sob os muros dos guetos hoje levantam muros de lamentações palestinas!

Vejam como são as coisas: O mundo mudou, mas continua igualzinho!

O mundo mudou, mas tem aquelas coisas que não mudam! Para ficar no assunto “mapa”: Restam duas Coréias e mais de mil áfricas dentro do continente esquecido; imenso e irrelevante!

E a velha Rússia, a velha Rússia... Não se adapta mesmo aos novos tempos e continua invadindo as nações-filhotes ao seu redor e matando jornalistas contestadores. A democracia é uma jaula apertada demais para o grande Urso!

É urso, mas não é nada besta.

A Besta, por sua vez, emergirá do mar... Do mar das nossas muitas Tribulações... De todas elas e daquela que ainda virá como ápice das nossas próprias produções de Ondas turbulentas! Virá também da Terra, do chão, do pó de nossos rastros históricos...

Tendo sido fatalmente ferida por um Tempo, a Besta tem o espírito contrário ao que habitou em Jesus e surgirá entronizando o poder humano, deificando a nossa falsa sensação de ter poder sobre tudo! Como no princípio...


A Besta é alguém?


É algo?


São ambos?


É a história? Ou seus personagens?

THE GOSPEL IN SCRIPTURES AND SCRIPTURES IN THE GOSPEL

Jesus, the Key that opens the Scriptures

 

"Christ is the Master ; the Scriptures are only the servant. The true way to test all the Books is to see whether they work the will of Christ or not. No Book which does not preach Christ can be apostolic, though Peter or Paul were its author. And no Book which does preach Christ can fail to be apostolic though Judas, Ananias, Pilate or Herod were its author." - Martin Luther

 

The gospels are historical narratives of the actions and happenings related to Jesus, as well as to His Words. The Gospel, however, is a spirit. The gospels are the body. The Gospel is the spirit in the body.

 

To many, the gospels are only narratives. To others, they are inspired words. To many others, they are only magical words. And for the majority, they are only the first four books of the New Testament, being, therefore, part of the Holy Bible.

 

However, the Gospel is spirit and life. God is spirit, and, therefore, His words are spirit and life, for they carry the power of Absolute Truth and produce life wherever they arrive.

 

To understand it better, suppose that the gospels had not been written. Surely, we know that even then, there would be a Gospel to be preached unto the ends of the Earth as Good News; viewed as it, the Gospel is a spirit, and not a book.

 

Hence, the spirit of the Gospel is only a way to express ourselves about the Essence of the Word. It is the Plenitude of the Revelation. It is the form of biblical interpretation that looks to Jesus as the Hermeneutic Key of this Revelation.

 

In no way it is being said here that only Jesus matters in the Bible, but, on the other hand, nothing matters if it does not flow from Him and nothing is Word of God if it is not compatible to Him, even though it may be "biblical" and "theological"!

 

I read the Bible based on Jesus and not Jesus based on the Bible. Therefore, my books are not considered "theological" by theologians, since in these writings there is rarely a theologically acceptable hermeneutic designation; and neither does one find in them systematizations that seek the logical closing of any body of thought.

 

This is because I believe that Jesus – who is God Manifest among us – opens up the Scriptures for us. Christ is the synthesis of the Scriptures and the Spirit of Grace is the hermeneutic agent that approximates me to the text with the faith that I will find the Word.

 

It is from there, then, that we interpret the Old Covenant, the Prophets and all of the New Testament. This because He is the Word! Its Absolute Incarnation, the Living Word of God, full of Grace and Truth! And the very words of Jesus can only be understood if they have their concretion in the Gospel lived by Jesus of Nazareth.

 

Look at the book of the Acts of the Apostles: it is a book of acts, of actions. But we know that the only absolute and untouchable works done on Earth are the Acts of Jesus. Therefore, there is Gospel in Acts, but Acts is not the Gospel. I say this because if Jesus' criteria are applied to the acts of the apostles, the apostles themselves are always relativized.

 

When we read Acts, we do not read the Gospel of Grace – this one is only made whole in Jesus -, but the human attempt to begin to live according to the faith in Jesus. And, in such a process, there are successes, errors, mistakes, the action of the Spirit, childishness, ambiguities, miracles, differences, fears, boldness, wonderful courage, terrible doubts, and all of the other things concerning men who live in the Way. Therefore, the book of Acts of the Apostles is a book of history, and does not want to be seen as the Gospel.

 

The childish attempt to say that the church is the Body of Christ – and therefore, Christ was acting as He had acted before, but now in His Community Body – is pretty, but is not truthful as absolute value. The Peter that received the revelation is the same that received the reprimand: Get thee behind me, Satan (Mat 16).

 

In Jesus is all the revelation and all the reference to judge and understand whatever it is that would be canonical. Where the 'spirit of the Gospel' is present, there is something to take to the soul and for life. If not, I only see historical records of the infancy of faith and of the conscience permeating the whole of Scripture.

 

The exercise is not hard: it is a matter of looking at Jesus, making a way of observation. One should ask: What is the meaning of the talks and teachings of Jesus for Jesus Himself? The answer is one: See how He treated life, religion, the politicians, the poor, the sick, the outcast, the segregated, the forgotten, the untouchables, the tax collectors, the prostitutes, the holy rollers, everything and everyone. Checking one thing against another, we are liberated from the construction of two irreconcilable beings: the Jesus that lived full of love and grace, and the Jesus that taught things that only the authorized interpreters are able to "detect".

 

In this way, then, never should a textual interpretation be done that does not coincide with the behavior and attitude of Jesus in the dynamic of his narrated movements and encounters.

 

Therefore, I compare everything with the spirit of Jesus, according to the Gospel. Only in this way is Jesus not made schizophrenic before our senses: what He said, He lived; and what He lived, is what He said.

 

"For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

 

"He is the splendor of the glory of the Father and the EXACT expression of His Being, before all things, holding all things together by the Word of His power!"

 

Look at Him, and everything will be interpreted! The rest, brethren, is the invention of those who do not want to deal with people and would rather deal with letters.

 

 

And the reading of the Old Testament?

 

"The time is coming...when I will make a new covenant…: I will put my law in their minds (no longer in tablets)and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (…) For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." Jeremiah's Cry (31.31-34)

 

After such devotional exercises about the New Testament, many send me questions of perplexity and confusion in relation to the content of the Old Testament.

 

But I am sure that this conflict was absent in Paul and the writer of Hebrews, for example. I say this because Paul makes use of the Old Testament, the psalms, e the prophets, to show that that "Human Phase" had been buried in Jesus; and that, according to the same Scriptures, in Christ a new conscience would begin, not as commands of exteriorities, but as perception founded upon love, justice and truth – all of this engraved and written in the heart.

 

Paul also says that the Law was given, and with it the causalities and its effects, so that the conscience of sin in us would be amplified (exaggerated). Paul himself revealed that the Law was part of the infancy of consciousness, as we have referred to it here, because it served as a guide, a servant who picks up and drops off at school – although, now, already walking in the Way by faith, he says that we no longer need the Law-Nanny.

 

Besides, the whole argument of the apostle about the justification by faith, according to the gift of Grace, was founded in declarations from the psalms and the prophets; as well as, beyond what was openly declared in the Texts, Paul also interpreted what was only implicit in the reading – and he does this reading of the Scripture through Jesus and not Jesus through the Scriptures.

 

This is because Paul read the Old Testament from the conscience acquired in Jesus. In other words: Jesus was Paul's "Hermeneutic Key", and from that Key, Paul interprets Abraham, Sarah and Hagar, Ishmael and Isaac, Esau and Jacob and others – always with the purpose of showing how Jesus was the fulfillment of all things.

 

And it was also from the same "Hermeneutic Key" that the writer of Hebrews interpreted the ceremonials and the rites described in the Books of the Law, discerning their symbols, utensils and architectures.

 

The letter to the Hebrews reaches the point of saying that Jesus was bigger than Moses, and bigger than anything in the Old Testament; calling what was pertinent to the Old Covenant obsolete and without utility, "antiquated, aged and soon to disappear." Today, he would say that the Old Testament was called "old" because of its passed expiration date.

 

So, in the Old Testament, the Old Covenant was as follow:

 

1. The justification by faith, by which all were justified, from Adam to John the Baptist. The chapter 11 of Hebrews declares it. Although people would live under the "law's regime" according to Paul. The justification, therefore, according to Hebrews and Paul (in all his letters), always happened by faith, and never by law. It is, at last, Paul's teaching in his letters to the Romans and Galatians, specially;
   

   
    

2. The man's tentative of self-justification through the law; It is said that whoever wish to justify him or herself by law would have to fulfill the entire law. And Jesus, continuing what was said by the prophets, made it clear that such obedience to the law would have to happen inside and out. But what David who said: "If you would observe the iniquity, O Lord, who would stand before you?" And then also declared: "Blessed is the man on who the Lord will not count iniquities";
   

   
    

3. The declaration, specially found on the book of Job, that calamities of life are not absolute as a determinant of God's judgment upon men. And Job himself is the proof of it. Usually, everybody rips what they sow, even if it doesn't seem calamity. Very often, only the person will realize the consequences. Therefore, according to Job and also the Ecclesiastes, the calamities don't come upon us as an absolute result of a law of cause and effect; The calamities therefore don't carry the power of justice as many times is the innocent man who receives the consequences while the man who did something wrong doesn't suffer the effect of his wrong deeds. What nobody knows is the size of the damage caused on the soul of this particular person as when the consequences don't come as an external agent (calamity) it comes as an internal bad (fear, loneliness, agony, loss of existential meanness, suffering of hate, fear of death, etc.);
   

   
    

4. What you can't find in the Old Testament is justification without blood. In the Old Covenant, the law itself was sanctioned with bloodshed; as seen on the first rite of "spiritual garments" done by God in Genesis, when He covered man and woman with dead animal skins to dress them.
   

   
    

   So my brothers, in the Old Testament, we have the manifestation of the human devotion in a primitive form as we have a master line indicating the Way, and it is a line covered in blood of goats and bulls; Until the Lamb came, which had already been sacrificed since before the world was made (therefore, long before the law); and, in Him, all the law – the commandments of social and individual behaviors (ieg.10 commandments) as the ceremony rites – were fulfilled; And that done, everything else became obsolete as what has prevailed in flesh and explicit way is the Gospel of the New Covenant; And in Him, the obedience is a consequence of faith which flows from the Love who before hand loved us first and gave himself for us.
   

   
    

   For those who still live in the law, the emotion that powers the 'engine of the obedience' is the fear. But on the Way of the Gospel everything loses its mean if it isn't the love and the gratitude what motivates the men.
   
   

   At last, I want to say that, in the existence there is cause and effect in all things (legal justice, natural laws, economic laws, physic laws, in the relations laws, marriage laws, business laws, etc.) – but not in what is relative to the Salvation in Christ according to the Gospel.
   

   
    

   In the Gospel, the law is kept to the State for the regulation of social affairs (Romans 13). But the Law nothing has to do with the justice of God for the salvation, which redeems even the condemned by the law as happened to the robber on the cross beside Christ.
   

   
    

   So, in the old times, there were people trying to live according to the law with all their sincerity and there were people pretending to keep the law with all their falsehood; And also there were people living under the law but by faith and hope on a Greater Love that would absolve them of the rigor of the law which exposed them as transgressors.
   

   
    

   Whoever dedicates to studying the gospels and the uncountable affirmations made by Paul in his letters, especially in Romans chapters 9 to 11, will learn that the purpose of the law is Christ.
   

   
    

   
    

   Jesus, the key to open the heart.
   

   
    

   "And Pilatus asked Him: What is the Truth?"
   

   
    

   Considering that Jesus is also an historical information – as He existed and we weren't there when it happened; reason why we completely depend on the gospel's description of Jesus in order to discern better His spirit - however, the discerning of who He was and is, only happens with a revelation from God into the heart.
   

   
    

   The Truth doesn't exist as an explanation but only as incarnation. The truth made itself flesh! It is someone. The truth is a person! Therefore the truth can only be lived but not thought. All thought about the truth comes from the experience. The truth isn't a subject of prose… The Jesus of the Gospel isn't to be accepted, but to be known. The Truth which I see in Jesus – incarnated in Him – I must know in my own incarnation, the unique state of existence that I have had till today.
   

   
    

   It was like that with Peter. He met the Truth in Jesus and he had to experience it himself. Probably he experienced a lot more truth on the day when he denied Jesus than he did on the night of the transfiguration.
   

   
    

   However it is necessary for each one of us to know Jesus and His Word, for ourselves. It's necessary for all of us to learn and have our own consciousness in faith, in order to live the Word in ourselves.
   

   
    

   Summarizing, the Incarnation is the hermeneutic key to the biblical knowledge, but this key must open the heart first. And it only happens when the Truth meets the Life. And this event only happens on the Way, and this is what we call consciousness of the Gospel.
   

   
    

   That's why I would like to take advantage of this essay to propose a personal and liberating exercise:
   

   
    

• I would like to invite you to take the gospels and read it as if it was your first time, and do it as if you had never listened to an interpretation of it before. And then you will be able to see that what I am saying is just a 'new repetition' of what has never changed and when they tried to change it was never for better, and it is eternal: the Gospel.
  
  

  The necessity of writing the message of Jesus came from the growing time distance of the historical source – Jesus of Nazareth Himself (Luke 1:1-4; John 20:30-31).
  

  
   

  In the beginning of the 70s A.D., almost all of the eyewitness of the risen Lord had died (Luke 1:2;1Co 15:3-18). This chronological time distance between Jesus and the communities could only be overcome by the written word. And so were formed the two great collections or "corpus" of Paul's letters and the Gospels.
  

  
   

• I then, would like to emphasize the necessity of reading the New testament on the most probable chronological sequence of its production: 1 and 2 Thessalonians; Galatians; Ephesians; 1 and 2 Corinthians and Romans; Colossians; Philemon; Philippians; 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus; 1Peter; Mark; Matthew; Hebrews; Luke; Acts; James; Jude; 1, 2 and 3 John; the gospel of John; 2 Peter; and Revelations.
  

  
   

  As a warning, I must say that the first enemy to be defeated in a biblical study is the pre-conditioning in the interpretation.
  

  
   

  So, beloved brother, 'wash your brain with water and soap' and start your personal reading being open to the Word and t the Holly Spirit.
  

  
   

  Soon you will start seeing the real Jesus on the pages of the gospels! Try it!

LOOK AT JESUS AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE WORD…

In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.

Hebrews 1.1-2

 

"The Word became flesh…", that being the case, the Incarnation becomes our only and possible hermeneutic key to understand the Word, myself, others and reality. And it is the Spirit who reveals Jesus as the Word and the Word in Jesus.

 

In reading of the Bible, the great temptation is to make the Scriptures pass as Word. The Scriptures are illuminated as the Word only when those who seek it have, as their sole motivation, an encounter with the Word of God. Or when the God of the Word speaks beforehand, to the heart!

 

And to conquer such a great temptation, I propose the following practical orientations:

 

1. The Bible should be read existentially as having its spirit fullfilled in Christ. He came to fulfill everything. Did he fulfill it? Yes! It is acomplished! But he fulfilled it in a legal-to-the-senses way? No! The proof is that the fulfillment of the Word in Jesus was exactly what the masters of the Law in His days called transgression. Therefore, there is a spirit even in the Law. Jesus fulfilled this spirit, not its materializations!
   

   
    

2. One should read the "speeches" of Jesus and not only work on (when it is done) the exegesis of the text. Rather, one should ask: what is the meaning of this teaching of Jesus for Jesus? And the answer is only one: see how He dealt with life, with people, with the facts! If we compare one thing to another, we are liberated from the construction of two irreconcilable beings: the Jesus that lived full of love and grace, and the Jesus that taught things that only the authorized interpreters are able to "detect".
   

   
    

3. In this way, then, one should never reach a textual interpretation that does not coincide with the behavior and attitude of Jesus in relation to the question, according to the Gospel. I compare everything to the spirit of Jesus, according to the Gospel.
   

   
    

4. Only in this way is Jesus not made schizophrenic before our senses: what He said, He lived; and what He lived, is what He said.
   

   
    

   The Bible is the Book.
   

   
    

   The Scripture is the Text.
   

   
    

   The Word IS!
   

   
    

   "Scripture" without God is only a religious text, open to all sorts of manipulations!
   

   
    

   It is only in Grace that the reading of the Bible holds the Word for the human heart. Without the illumination of the Spirit, the Bible is only the most fascinating of all best-sellers.

Dessa vez, nosso próximo não está tão próximo. Não é uma pessoa, é toda uma gente, um povo: são as criancinhas Nigerianas do sul do mais populoso país africano.

Ao longo das últimas duas semanas, o Caminho da Graça levantou informações sobre o inferno que os assola, e só então descobrimos a imensidão grotesca do problema: A igreja evangélica local, em sua versão mais neopentecostal e comercial, arranca dinheiro de um povo sofrido fazendo exorcismos violentos de pequeninos que são acusados "profeticamente" pelos pastores de serem possessos de espíritos malignos de bruxaria, segundo a mesma teologia de sincretismo cultural que vigora aqui no Brasil "cristão".
Os pais sem dinheiro para pagar pela libertação abandonam seus filhotes, e os vizinhos tratam de cometer toda sorte de violência contra os bruxinhos-mendigos.
Nós queremos ir até lá (nosso coração já está lá!!!), e para tanto, separamos uma conta corrente para receber contribuições nesse sentido, que, pela Graça de Deus, tem vindo diariamente de todos os lugares, igrejas e leitores do site.
Nosso projeto nessa primeira missão de reconhecimento é estabelecer lá uma base permanente de atuação, e nesse objetivo, estamos nos valendo dos seguintes itens:
1) Publicação de literatura infantil com os versículos em inglês (A Nigéria é ex-colônia britânica) onde fica claro como Jesus trata os pequeninos. Nossos desenhistas estão trabalhando nas ilustrações e nós estamos inserindo exercícios devocionais para se fazer em família, a fim de proteger os pais pela via do conhecimento de Deus. Vamos distribuir de casa em casa.
2) Publicação de um "NT africano", com os quatro evangelhos versão King James, para distribuição maciça entre os adultos, com estudo direcionado contra essa teologia maluca da Batalha Espiritual que destroe criancinhas, das quais pertencem o Reino. A capa e o conteúdo já estão prontos. Digo, a arte. Falta mandar imprimir.
3) Uma equipe de 11 a 13 irmãos que vão nos acompanhar nessa empreitada. Todos falam inglês, tem coração missionário, e lhes digo a verdade: É gente sóbria, entretanto, dispostos a doar a Vida, a morrer pela causa, seja aqui seja na África. É gente que trabalha nesse mundo, mas já saiu dele faz tempo! São soldados do amor.
4) Pretendemos ficar lá uns 15 dias, converter o coração de alguns pastores-do-bem, de alguns "filhos da paz" e dos "cornélios" que Deus nos colocar no caminho, para com eles, levantar uma tenda de atendimento ininterrupto de gente confusa com as profecias que recebem o tempo todo.
5) Apoiar as ONGs locais que trabalham recolhendo as crianças abandonadas. Algumas em condições de desnutrição e ferimentos mortais. São só duas ongs, mas estão muito bem dispostas a nos receber lá, e nos levar aos lugares onde podemos fazer o que eles não fazem: Pregar o Perfeito Amor que lança fora todo MEDO. Sim, as ongs fogem do aspecto religioso e ainda tem suas iniciativas invadidas pelos "obreiros" fanatizados que destroem, literalmente e em nome de Jesus, suas instalações, no pior estilo de dominação espiritual dos territórios inimigos que aprenderam com uma neuza-etioka que existe lá numa versão terrorista (apóstola Helen Ukpabio)
6) Queremos enfrentá-la com a mesma arma que ela usa. Produzindo filmes. Sim, ela é uma das maiores produtores de filme, e a Nigéria é o terceiro maior consumidor de filmes "caseiros" do mundo. Para tanto, estamos iniciaremos ainda um projeto de vídeos especiais. Todos têm TV e video, e o principal entretenimento local.
Amigos, se vocês leram até aqui, por favor, respondam ao nosso apelo: Não temos dinheiro nem para as passagens ainda. Não imaginávamos que cada passagens custaria 4.500 reias.
Vejam, temos quase 19 mil reais em conta (atualização dia 25/10). O "Caminho da Graça" em Recife ofertou 4.500 reias desse total. A outra metade nos veio por via de pequenas contribuições individuais. As igrejas que tomaram a iniciativa de escrever dizendo que nos apoiariam, ainda não o fizeram de fato, e as que fizeram, depositaram valores mínimos.
Amigo, se você puder nos ajudar... Pense a respeito, e nos responda o quanto antes, para que possamos marcar uma data de ida. Basicamente, precisamos de passagens e patrocínio de literaturas/vídeos. Lá, nos viramos... Nos hospedaremos em qq lugar viável e as ongs nos suprirão de alimentação.
Tudo que podemos fazer estamos fazendo, e disso não nos advirá qq lucro, senão o privilégio de participar dessa Obra!

The tormentor of children

Helen Ukpabio is brutish and monstrous. In an attempt to clear her name following the film's release, Helen employed the Lagos lawyer Victor Ukutt. 

Ms Ukpabio identified Gary Foxcroft of Stepping Stones Nigeria and Sam Ikpe-Itauma of Child Rights and Rehabilitation Centre (CRARN) in Eket, as the enemies that must be crushed. 

Mr Ukutt, on behalf of the Trustees of Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministry, wrote a threatening letter to both organisations demanding a public and published apology and one billion US Dollars on behalf of his clients. When this failed to achieve the desired reaction, Helen employed the Police to visit CRARN on 3rd July of this year where the aim was to arrest or kidnap Mr Ikpe-Itauma. Failing to achieve this, the policemen beat several of the children including two who required hospitalisation. Helen has used every means to defend her name, never attempting to ameliorate the plight of stigmatised children. Ms Ukpabio would perhaps achieve her goal of rehabilitating her name by re-distributing the wealth amassed through cruelty to children and clearing the social mess caused by her actions.

The faces of Helen Ukpabio are many. She is the evangelist, the tormentor of children, the astute business woman, the formidable fighter and the conscienceless brute. Helen Ukpabio is an egregious evangelist who readily boasts of her influence in Nigeria and sees any foreign interference as a threat. This is who Nigeria must contend with. As concerned Nigerian citizens, we owe it to our children, our nation and generations unborn to speak out in the face of the ignoble antics of this renegade evangelist. In a more civilised environ, her types are usually curtailed behind prison walls. Notwithstanding that this may not be the case in Nigeria, our struggle for justice demands input from all.

The Child Rights Act asserts that children can only reach their full potential when there is an environment that helps to meet their basic needs and also recognises and protects their rights. It is thus an offence against humanity for anyone, whether an organisation or individual, to destroy the rights of children. It is irresponsible of any government to fold its arms while such tyranny is being perpetrated. Helen Ukpabio has shown total disregard to the welfare of children by stigmatising them as witches. She is guilty of violating the Child Rights Act through the unfettered social, emotional and psychological torture of children as well as profiteering from the misfortunes of innocent children which she induced by her proclamations and actions. She has caused untold social hardship, marriage destruction and psychological disharmony in the nation. As a result it is necessary to:

  Demand a full and thorough investigation into the activities of Helen Ukpabio by the Federal Government or the government of Akwa Ibom state.

  Seizure of the assets and illegal wealth of Helen Ukpabio.

  Educate the public on the evil of labelling children as witches and the criminality inherent in such practices.
  
  
  

The battle for the emancipation of the rights of children in Nigeria will not be made easier by the freedom of people like Helen Ukpabio, an enemy of child rights. The time has come for Nigeria to say no to her satanic verses.

The battle to bring Helen Ukpabio to justice is still on. There has been a tremendous international response but it is vital that Nigerians are seen to be keen to tackle identified social menaces in their country. EM NOLLYWOOD O TAPETE ESTÁ VERMELHO COM O SANGUE DAS CRIANÇAS

É de um mal gosto tão "mal-gosto, mal-gosto" que ele aparece aqui compactado, para ver se você consegue ver até o final!

Se você quer entender o que se passa Nigéria vai precisar ver esse "filmaço!" - como o chamou quem o legendou. Sim, a TV continua tendo TUDO A VER! O cinema, o vídeo, a animação, enfim, a IMAGEM. Essa é a grande "educadora", fomentadora de culturas e comportamentos, além de crenças e modas, e isso não é diferente na Nigéria.

Aliás, lá é diferente sim, pois tudo acontece com categorias mais dramáticas do que pensa nossa ignorância acerca da África. A Nigéria é uma das maiores produtoras de cinema do mundo!

Parece mentira, né?

Li na Wikipédia.

(Sim, a Wikipédia é como o guarda-chuva, né...: É uma porcaria, mas é o melhor que se tem quando se precisa! No caso desse dicionário virtual, o guarda-chuva ainda é cheio de muitos furos. Se numa tempestade não ajuda nada, numa chuvinha, porém, resolve tudo. Do mesmo modo, se numa pesquisa científica, a Wikipédia não vale; para informações gerais, ela "manda bem" com o que tem! "O cinema da Nigéria tem crescido nos últimos anos e, embora seja um mercado extremamente informal, teve uma grande explosão de produção (...) que tem chamado a atenção mundial por suas características únicas.

Geralmente são os próprios produtores que se encarregam da distribuição das fitas e DVDs, garantindo um retorno financeiro fácil e rápido, com uma margem de lucro não muito ambiciosa, mas volume muito grande. Com esse esquema de produção, em apenas 15 anos a indústria cresceu do zero para um mercado de cerca de US$ 250 milhões por ano que emprega milhares de pessoas. Estima-se que cerca de 300 diretores estejam em atividade, produzindo um total de aproximadamente dois mil filmes por ano.
O sucesso desta indústria reside principalmente no fato de a temática dos filmes ter um apelo direto com o público local, por tratar de preocupações, conflitos e realidades que freqüentam o noticiário e o imaginário da população local. Os temas mais freqüentes são a AIDS, corrupção, prostituição, religião e ocultismo.

Helen Ukpabio confirma a veracidade das informações da Wikipédia. Helen é evangelista, famosa no país por ser produtora de cinema, e recentemente tem feito adversários na sociedade civil por instigar a idéia que crianças podem ser bruxas, demoninhos serviçais de potestades brancas!

Profetisa neopentecostal, de visão macediana em suas campanhas de libertação, e muitos muitos empregados-obreiros fanáticos que fazem Batalha Espiritual contra pequeninos, Helen Ukpabio é a "neusa etioka" da África. A diferença é que se a Sra. Etioka visse que sua pregação estimula o abandono infantil, a agressão contra os pequenos, o amordaçamento das crianças de peito, o embaraço emocional e o infantícidio real, há muito ela, nossa Neusa, teria parado de falar. Calar-se-ia para sempre!

Mas Helen Ukpabio fez fortuna. De onde está, não tem como voltar.

Assista ao vídeo e pense que você é um adulto nigeriano que congrega numa igrejinha perto de casa. Imagine que você tem filhos pequenos, meio levados, meninos saudáveis mas, às vezes, atrapalhados; que deixam cair um prato, quebram um copo sem querer, brigam na escola. E antes de culpar a intolerância pagã de um cristão nigeriano, pense se você já não procurou culpados espirituais por suas doenças e desempregos.

Agora, assista o vídeo abaixo, só um dos muitos filminhos estilo-tosco "neste mundo tenebroso" produzido em Nollywood.

OBREIROS INVADEM MANIFESTAÇÃO PELOS DIREITOS INFANTIS

Calabar é a capital de Cross River, estado nigeriano próximo de Ikwa Ibom, para onde estamos fazendo malas.

Calabar tem 1.2 milhões de habitantes. Um deles é Helen Ukpabio, a evangelista produtora de cinema e escritora famosa na Nigéria.

Em Julho AGORA (2009), Calabar também foi sede de uma pequena conferência humanitária que reuniu ONGs e autoridades civis.

O videozinho abaixo mostra como acabou a conferência.

Os obreiros-empregados da "Helen-Macedo" usam os mesmos artifícios empregados aqui, na luta contra os "ímpios" que, cegados pela incredulidade, NEGAM que as crianças sejam BRUXAS. No vídeo de quase 3 minutos, a "gangue" da evangelista invade o salão. Eles estão todos de laranja. Entram de surpresa decretando domínio territorial em nome de Jesus e cantando louvores de guerra. E terminam por expulsar na violência um organizador (grandão, por sinal).
